Blessing of the Backpacks
Sunday August 18th, we invite all our children and youth returning back to school to bring their backpacks for a blessing during the service. We will also be praying for the teachers, administrators and staff that will be starting a new school year.
All Church Picnic
Mark your calendar for our all-church picnic on August 10th at 5:00 pm. Come for a time of fellowship and food. We invite you to bring a side to share. We will have hamburgers and hot dogs with the fixings. I hope you also consider bringing someone who might not have a church home, so they could experience Kimball Ave during a fellowship event. Having that experience might make it easier to come to church when you invite them for worship. See you on August 10th at 5:00 pm

Ash Wednesday Service
Spend Valentines Day with Jesus! KAUMC will be having our Ash Wednesday Service on the 14th starting at 5:30pm! Please Join Us.
Holiday Food Drive
For the Monday of Thanksgiving week Kimball Ave UMC is getting a group together to help distribute food for the holiday meal giveaway at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Last year we had about 12 people stocking carts indoors and a few more working outdoors. I am planning on signing us up for indoor slots again this year. If you would like join us, save the date on your calendar! 10:00-12:15 on Monday the 20th of November.
Quilt Show for the Cedar Valley Hospitality House
Funds from this event will be used to support
the Cedar Valley Hospitality House, a mission supporting the
homeless population.
TRUNK OR TREAT
KAUMC Will be hosting Trunk or Treat Again for Halloween. Our Trunk or Treat Event will take place on October 31st, Halloween Night, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
