Keeping Up With The Youth Group!
What is Youth Group?
Youth Group is a Wednesday night Bible Study/Hangout with our middle and high school youth at the church.
Is It Just Kimball Ave. Youth?
No! In 2022 the Pastors of Kimball Ave and two other church in the area, Waterloo first UMC and First Baptist, Got together and had worked out a plan to form a Collaborative Youth Program. Currently we have just 2 churches involved with the program, the Collaborative Youth Program is open for all and everyone!
Who Runs The Youth Group?
Both Churches that are currently taking part in Waterloo Collab Ministry Youth Group have youth directors who work together to keep the ship running.

What Are The Youth Up To??
As I write this, November comes to a close. We spent our time running around the spaces of KAUMC, hiding under pews, throwing around bean bags,
playing basketball, drawing and coloring, and of course having meaningful discussion.
For our Bible studies this month we talked about
happiness and how we can share our happiness with others. With consecration Sunday we looked at the differences and similarities of both generosity and sacrifice. And of course with Thanksgiving, how could we not use that time to discuss what it means to be thankful, and all the things we have to thank God for in our lives.
December will be a short month for us as we only meet twice. We will be shifting back over to Waterloo First UMC and shake off some of this end of year stress!
